Links Procedure

The purpose of Frankston International Guitar Festival web site is to provide information about the festival. The site may also provide links to web sites that also serve this purpose. Frankston City takes no responsibility for information or services which may appear on any linked web sites.

The criteria below will be used to decide whether to grant requests for links on the Frankston International Guitar Festival web site. If a particular request does not fit any of the following criteria, Frankston City will decide whether to approve the request. Frankston City Council reserves the right to exclude links to websites of organisations or businesses at its discretion, on the basis that Council believes these websites contain material, or are likely to contain material, which it believes it should not be perceived to be supporting, or which is contrary to the interests of the Frankston Community.

Frankston City will provide links to other web sites for:

Government and education institutions
Organisations with some relationship to Frankston (including but not limited to: organisations contracting within the city, organisations sponsoring activities and programs, and organisations participating in Frankston City activities and programs).
Generally recognised community organisations
Organisations providing information about art, culture and sporting activities in the Frankston area.
Agencies with the principle aim of providing information on employment opportunities in the Frankston area.

Frankston International Guitar Festival web site will not provide links to web sites for:

Sitting members and candidates for Local, state or federal offices.
Political organisations or other organisations advocating a position on a local, state or federal issue.
Corporate or other for-profit organisations unless they fit the criteria stated above.
